Q: can't recognize my hard drive to boot

I have got newest MBP 13", I just restarted it today in the morning and it automatically came up with the disk utility. Afterwards I followd the help section in order to restore and in order to do so I tried to erase my harddrive which eventually ends up in an error. I again restarted my system and then this folder icon came up so I had to do Internet repair.....again a restart and I tried to reinstall Mountian lion but I cannot find my hard drive during the installation, though it shows me the harddrive in Disk Utility........ Please help me ASAP.

I just thought he might have fixed the problem by reformatting the drive, which I suggested. Had that not done the trick, then the next step would be to repartition the dirve. Didn't have to be two partitions, one would have done the trick, but two works also.

Hey, take the points and run. This happens all the time.
