Q: How to have the serial number whitout the packaging?

I just change my macbook pro for a new one. I transfer the sotfware to the new computer using time machine. Aperture is asking me for the serial numbert that is supposed to be in the packaging. But I can not find my packaging. So what can I do? Is there any other way ton find this serial number?

Doyou still have your old Macbook and Aperture 3 running on it?

Then the "About" panel can show your your serial number:
From the main menu bar: Aperture > About Aperture; see the "Licenced to" section of the panel.

And of course that will only woek as long as the version of Aperture 3 running on the old computer is not an upgrade.

If it is an upgrade you will need all the original serial numbers. Try this Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers
