Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
I have the same problem,
My macbook doesnt connect to network at home, sometimes doesnt even find the network! other users in the house dont have problems, my iphone 5 is also just working fine on the wifi network. Every once in a little while he sees the network, if i click on it, it says: time out connecting with server.
-delete or change some system internet changes
-move my mac in the house
what to do? i already have two days without internet and need it!
thanks so much everybody!
I got it working thanks to Cory James' suggestion in:
I think the reason was this... my router was using an SSID that was the same as an older one from a previous place I visited. However, the router addresses were different. I think my Mac was matching the SSID, then trying to find the router based on one of the com.* network preferences (that Cory James' post asks to remove). It would probably wait until it times out, then go looking for new networks.
I did see a reply to that post though, that said it stopped working again after 36 hours. I'll need to wait and see if that happens to me too. It works for now.. :-)
