Q: MacBook White Late 2009 Memory
Hi
Am trying to figure what is the exact specification for Memory for the following configuration
Current memory is 2GB (1 GB in each slot). I want to upgrade to 4 GB (or more if possible)
I don't think OWC is available in INDIA. I saw transcend selling similar RAM(E-bay India), am not sure if it is compatible with MAC.
Will this work?

Your Late 2009 MacBook uses PC-8500 1066 MHz DDR3 memory, so you can buy the RAM you have mentioned. However, you will have to buy two, as Apple installed two memory modules of 1 GB, so you have to replace them for two RAM modules of 2 GB. If you need help installing memory > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1651
Your computer supports 8 GB of memory, so if you want, you can buy two RAM modules of 4 GB
