Q: iPad/iTunes sync problems (TV Shows)
I'm hoping somebody can help with this issue, that I've failed to solve myself. It relates to content disappearing from the iPad after a sucessful sync.
Kit:
iPad Mini, 32GB, running OS 6.1.3
Mac Book Air 13" running OS 10.8.4
iTunes 11.0.5 (5)
Connection (USB cable and Wi-Fi Sync)
I've had no trouble with content sycning at all until the last 24/48 hours. Here are my symptoms:
1. TV Show content in iTunes (the only TV show series in there).
2. Add content to the iPad (in itunes), and click SYNC - sync begins.
3. Sync completes and all the TV show content is present on the ipad (accessed by the Video app)
4. Play content - plays fine locally and by airplay.
5. around 20/30 seconds after the sync, the TV content disappears (and as it's the only TV content so does the TV Shows category header). If the content is playing, it ceases to play.
6. Resync - and the same loop happens.
I've tried disconnecting the ipad from iTunes after the sucesful sync (and swiching off wi-fi sync too) but the content disappears over approx the same time scale.
I have no restirctions switched on in the settings. I've not tried a factory reset on the iPad yet as I'm trying to avoid that.
Any help would be much appreciated.
