For Pages for iOS, what you see is what you get. You can't add fonts to it and it does a replace when importing from another app/platform. If use of a particular font rather than a general font family is important tfor your work, you should consider using another platform. While Souvenir Gothic isn't a rare font, it also is not typically included in basic font installs.

I too would appreciate some more fonts...
I have my CV in docx. Fonts used: calibri and arial.
When I import the doc into pages for ios, the formatting is skewed.
Words are not where they should be and i cant fix it. There are spaces which cannot be deleted etc.
The only way i see pages catching up is : better compatibility with ms word (as advertised) if this is achieved by adding some more fonts, then why not do so?
Im sure that its ok for all new documents created in ios pages, but there might also be a big userbase that wants to crossgrade and wont because all their previously created docs in word ( the simplest formatting, no extras ) will be useless in pages and cant be fixed...
Anyway, i am new to ios pages and there might be something i missed?
It is on the right track but it needs to get its act together so to speak...;)
Thanks for reading:)

I don't think you missed anything. In the end, even for OS X, people who want total compatiblity with MS Word have always had to use other apps. You might want to try one of the various iOS word processors which are aimed more at doing that than Pages is.

Oh, yes, I do need this font on my iPad, and on my iPod. I'll say it again, Pages us. A fine, powerful word processor, at least as good, if not better than Word on a Windows platform.
Yes, we have already seen that one cannot add a font to Pages. But I know the creator(s) of Pages could certainly add one or more fonts, if only enough users asked for such. Speak up, people, it's the only way that will come to be.
