I do not want to individually choose each artist then each album.  I am looking to convert an entire library consisting of 500 + albums in as few clicks as possible.

    Google it.

iTunes does not convert WMA files to an iTunes compatible format.

hmmm - wma converted to acc is exactly what ITunes does for albums in Windows Media Player library .  I just do not want to have to click on each and every Artist for each and every album of that artist.

    Truck tape,

You are correct.  iTunes for Windows can convert WMA files to the iTunes-compatible format that you have specified in your import preferences.  (iTunes for Mac cannot do this.)

Find the folders those WMA files are in, and just drag those folders into the open iTunes window.

hmm should I pick each song file and individually drop each one into the iTunes folder or pick each individual album and drop that into the iTunes folder?

Either way that would take a while.  I have a pretty nice computer and that is why I'm asking , How do I convert an entire WMP library into an ITunes Library for that sake of playing the music mobile-EE.

Am I asking the question in a weird way?

    Neither.

File > Add to library and select the topmost folder with the music.

Or drag the topmost folder to Library at top left of iTunes.

When I choose the Artist Folder (Alice in Chains) , with more then one album inside the Artist Folder , iTunes converts only one of those albums and stops.  My library under WMP now gets a copy of the Alice in Chains album next to the one I ripped.  One is wma and the other is m4a.  Plus iTunes does not simply take the Cover Art and copy and paste it into the iTunes Library, it claims no art can be found.  It has become a headache and a real mess.  I uninstalled the program.

    Truck tape,

    A couple of suggestions:

If you want to  give up on converting the WMA files but still go mobile, you can drop the iTunes idea and instead opt for a mobile device that syncs with Windows Media Player and can handle WMA, such as Zune or Sansa.

If you want to take another shot at converting the WMA files to MP3, check out a dedicated conversion tool such as Switch or dbPowerAmp.
