i dont know how to change my current music file from quicktime to a mp3 audio file, how do you do it?

    If you are using a "basic" Mac OS X v10.8.4 install/codec configuration then you can use iTunes to convert to MP3 audio. It has a built in MP3 encoder which you can set up as your default audio import/conversion compression format. Otherwise it depends on how you system's codec components are configured and/or what media applications you have installed.

    I'd like to use the converter software to help.

    If you also want a try, you can use this Audio Converter. I love its batch converting function. The free version seems to have some limitation, you may check in its official websites.
