    Move over to what?

For what reason would anyone want to create a seperate library?  Simply create a playlist that contains the desired media.

FYI, iDevices can only sync with a single library.

What was the intent behind doing this?  What is ultimately trying to be accomplished?

You can create multiple libraries to clean up different type songs, etc

iTunes is obviously in favor of this since they added the feature

I understand I can put the music into a playlist; I did that years ago but as a library gets bigger and ALL songs are in one library, you are dealing with all the songs vs putting say, holiday music in one folder and just seeing those songs during the holidays

This is a iTunes SUGGESTION on their support site

So to answer your question of WHY, because I can.....

How about an actual answer to me specific question in lieu of a lecture and silly questions

Add them to the library as you would to any other library.

File > Add File/Folder to library.

Delete them as you would delete them from any other library.

Select the song(s) in question and press Delete.

You could drag the relevant songs from your current library into the Automatically Add to iTunes folder of the alternate library. Close iTunes, switch libraries, and check that they have been added properly. Then switch back to your original library and delete.

An alternative approach which would make it easier to reinstate the tracks, or access them without switching libraries, would be to change the media kind of the relevant tracks to something you don't normally use, say iTunes U.
