My iPad mini i have had for about 10 weeks will not turn on! It was while i was on Holiday when i plugged it in over night and it was on about 62%. In the morning I noticed my iPad was very hot, so I flipped up my smart case and, usually it would automatically turn on, but this time it didn't. I tried clicking the home button a few times and then the on/off button and it didn't work. I rememberd last time it was hot and woulnd't turn on i held down both of them buttons and that didn't work either this time! What do i do? Is there any quick things i could do? Do i have to restore it? Will apple to that when i take it into an apple store? Help!

iPad, iOS 6.1.4, iPad Mini

Try holding the lock button and the home button at the same time for a few seconds. That might give it a "kick"

    Hi Susie,

Hold down on both the Sleep andHome buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds. Keep holding both buttons until the Apple Logo appears. When you see the Apple logo on the black screen, let go of both buttons. It should power up then.

If it doesn't power up, hold the Home button down and while holding it down plug the Lighting/USB cable into your computer. Keep holding the Home button down until you see the iTunes logo on your iPad. You can then user iTunes to restore the iPad to your last backup.

    Hope this helps!

Take it in for warranty service.
