Q: Safari won't load certain pages on two different computers.  Chrome, too.  Told it can't connect to servers.  Tried a reset, didn't work.  Very frustrated. Please help.

I've never asked a question here before -- a total amateur.

Huey Pro is known to cause problems, if you absolutely cannot miss it, install it again after a few weeks problemfree computing, then see if it hurts you again.

Mackeeper is, as already said, and as can be read in numerous posts here, absolutely the worst.

Onyx and ccleaner do nothing for you in terms of cleaning: OSX has a very different approach as windows and takes care of everything: it cleans caches daily, weekly, and monthly. When you clean with a "cleaner" they do the same and OSX readily fills them up again. The difference is that OSX does it in "spare time" and the cleaners not.

As for the site nytimes, as I said it is the site that created the problem irratically, I noticed it too.
