Hi all, apologies if this has been asked / answered before but I can't find it in the forums under a quick search. I like to have my inspector on the left side of my 27 inch iMac screen in normal view, and so I want it like this in full screen mode as well. The problem i seem to have is that it's postion when I click the button to dock it is random - sometimes it locates to the left, sometimes to the right.

I've tried to undock and move the HUD to the left side of the screen, but as soon as I click the dock button it pings back to the right. Just tonight I had it docked on the left and the full screen image to the right - only when I hover over the browser HUD it moved back to undocked, the image centralised on screen and when I tried to dock the inspector again - you guessed it - on the right

If it play around with the browser HUD and inspector I can randomly (it seems) get it to dock on the left, but I wonder if there is a sure fire way to set this up so it does it automatically all the time.

Thanks all,

James

Have you tried quitting Aperture while in full-screen view with the HUD docked on the left?

I've observed that if you do that, then the next time you start Aperture, invoke full-screen and open the HUD that it stays on the side it was on when you last quit.
