No.
I think it's more streamline using iBooks Author and iBooks Store, since both are from Apple.
Note: iBooks Author is Mac only.

Nov 18, 2013 7:28 AM in response to Cwolf2013by dankemp,Hi. Here's a guide for publishing to the iBookstore. You can't do it straight from your iPad, you need to have access to a Mac with iTunes Producer installed, or use an aggregator (3rd party service that will publish your book for you).
