Q: Trying to upgrade iCloud storage

I just received my iCloud upgrade email.  However, when I go to the iCloud options from my iPhone, iPad, or Mac, the $40 option is selected, but "next" or "buy" is grayed out.  I can only select the $100 or $20 options.  Am I missing something?

Thanks!

If you are a former MobileMe subscriber and want to purchase your current plan, see the instructions under "How do I purchase my current plan" here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5527.

    Thank you for your reply.

Those instructions were the exact ones I was trying.  This is what I get...Screen Shot 2013-08-30 at 1.02.24 PM.png

Notice that the "next" button is grayed out.  Same thing with the "buy" button on my iOS devices.  I am signed in and able to see my current usage, etc.  Any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

Click Downgrade Options on the lower left, enter your Apple ID and click Manage, then click 20GB at the top and click Done.

    I know...it isn't very intuitive.

Just wondering... If it says "Current Plan," maybe it already worked?  I never got a conformation email for the upgrade, so maybe that's my confustion.

My apple ID account does say I'm currently on the 20 gig for $40.  I guess I'm ok.

Thanks for your help and suggestions!

If you click on Downgrade Options and see that your 20GB plan is checked under "Choose a different plan to use when your current plan ends on 9/30/13", you should be all set as you have selected 20GB as your different plan (rather than the free 5GB plan which it would have downgraded to had you done nothing).

You could also probably call the Apple online store to confirm that the purchase went through (1-800-MYAPPLE if you're in the U.S.).

I just got off the phone with Apple (thank you for suggesting that!)... They said I had purchased the upgrade almost a year ago and that the 20 gig for $40 is my current option and will be automatically renewed anually.  I couldn't select it because I was already paying for it.  So I guess I'm good to go!

    Thanks again!

You're welcome.  Glad they were able to clarify that for you.
