Q: I cannot get my HDTV to work with my iMac (intel late 2006)

I have bought the proper cord and everything and hooked up the iMac to two different HD tvs. Black screen every time. I wonder what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for the question. First, you mentioned you have bought the proper cable, is this a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cord/adapter?:

- Griffin Video Display Converter (Mini DisplayPort to HDMI and DVI)
- iWires Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter
