Q: the airport id is not recognized as the password?

Once installed my airpot extreme, when i introduce the password as the airport id, this is not recognized. Is somethig wrong or i have to introduce other password?

The AirPort ID is not the same thing as the wireless or base station administration password. The AirPort ID is the MAC address of the wireless radio in the AirPort base station. Please check out the following Apple Support article for details.
