Open a Finder window, then use the Search box.
If you know the file name (or part of the name), use that as the search term
If not, use .numbers and choose "Numbers documents" from the list of suggestions.
Select "This Mac" as the range to search, and set the results table to sort by Date (click the column header).
Thank a lot Barry.
The problem is that I was working to a very important NUMBERS file in the computer, and suddenly it close. In the same time I had open other 2 NUMBERS file.
All 3 NUMBERS file close, together woth the program. When I tried to go on the desktop where there was the 3 files, the file that I was working on dissapear. The others two that were open, but not active on them , I culd find them.
I search for it everywhere, also contact the aple...but no help from anyone.
The problem is that it was a very important file from the office, and I do not have any copy of it, and if I can not find it...I don't know what to do Monday morning.
If you have any other sugestion, you are welcome.
Many thanks again.
I work on my laptop everything.
So it was on the laptop all the time.
I search on the internet and a lot of people have the same isue, the problem is that for some of them they recover the file (just appear again in the same folder), and for the others like me dissaper forever.
Can you tell me if MAC OS have a folder for recovery files or something similar, maybe it was moved into a temporary folder or samething.
I found some small files on the trash, but I do not think that they are. What should I do with them...how can I put them back.
Today I was working to a NUMBERS file, and again stopped imediatly, an error message appear on the scree, and again my fie dissapear for all.
Files cannot be opened while they are in the Trash. Yu will need to drag them to the Desktop before attemptig to open them.
Regarding the crash report:
Sorry, I'm not familiar enough with these to offer an interpretation of them. For anyone who is familiar with them, I suspect there's not enough information in the small portion visible in a screen shot to be useful. They would need the full report, for which you coud use copy/paste.
