    Use the Preview application on your computer.

    Whoops! Didn't realize you could just use Export in iPhoto!

    You can follow the demo code to convert jpeg to tiff.I have do it several times.But i am not sure whether this code is suit for you.Just have a try:

    using System;
    using System.Collections.Generic;
    using System.ComponentModel;
    using System.Data;
    using System.Text;
    using System.Windows.Forms;
    using RasterEdge.Imaging.Basic.Convert;

    namespace WindowsApplication1
    {
        public partial class Form1 : Form
        {
            public Form1()
            {
                InitializeComponent();
            }
            public static string FolderName = "c:/";
            private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
            {
                ImageConverter.ConvertImageFormat("c:/Sample.tif", "c:/reimage.jpeg");
            }
        }

    But why would you do that when you can just export as a tiff from iPhoto or Preview?

    Very simple - Select the  Photo(s) in iPhoto and export as kind - TIFF   --  see the complete set of export options in the user tip on exporting
