Q: Storage GB change

Apply WON'T let me into Manage my Storage in order to upgrade my Storage plan. The system asks me for the password. The password I'm specifying is correct, but the dialog box loops without letting me in! And, no, I don't want to change my password. At the same time, AAPL threatens to reduce my storage to 5GB (from 20GB that I got "for free" after putting up with MobileMe for a few years).

For instructions on how to pay for your free storage in future please see this page

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5527

and expand the section under 'How do I purchase my current plan?' applicable to your device. Is this the method you were trying to use? What operating system are you using?

I'm sorry - I didn't make it clear. I know that article - it was referenced in the original message from Apple. I followed the steps. It's just when it gets to 'enter your password' things go wrong. This step is required: after I specify "Downgrade my Storage" I'm led to the passwork dialog box. After I enter my password I don't get the characteristic "shake" that indicates the wrong password... it simply loops me back to the same 'enter your password' box, until if finally locks me out (after 5 attempts) and gives me a message: 'You can't manage your storage at this time. Wait a moment and try again'...

I'm using OS X 10.8.4 with mac mini.

    Thanks

Possibly you've fallen over a server glitch. I should leave it a day or two and try again. If it still doesn't work you will probably have to contact Support.
