There are hundreds of USB hubs to choose from. What I'd recommend is a Powered USB 3 hub, what I decided on was a stand that incorporated USB ports in it, this serves two purposes and has served me well for several years.The stand I chose was the:

FWIW, I prefer using a USB card reader for my camera SDHC card which I plug into the hub - is less cumbersome and saves the camera battery.

This one Thunderbolt™ Express Dock for Mac from Belkin also has a FireWire Port. There are less expensive ones out there search for thunderbolt usb hub
