Q: My calendar is not syncing between devices ?

iPad

I enter events on my phone but they do not carry over to my desktop mac.Sometimes, they show up on my ipad but not always.What is the problem?

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Thanks. For some reason, just turning the calendar off and on on my iphone worked.
