How do i get itunes to authorise my audible account?

iTunes says that it is authorised for my audible account, but when i go to add an audio book it asks for the audible username and password, which i enter, and it says that they are invalid. (I have tried about 20 times.....They aren't - i can log into Audible with the same details). I have tried resetting my audible password, no luck. I thought i would try to de-authorise the audible account on the computer - however i get the same error - that the username and password are invalid.... I have contacted Audible - but this seems an itunes error to me... Any suggestions??
