Q: connecting macbook to tv
I need assistance with connecting my macbook pro (mid 2009 version) to my TV. The TV has an additional HDMI port but what are my options for connectivity since my macbook pro has different ports (I'm not very techy so may not be using the correct words to describe. See inserted photo).
I would like to do this wirelessly but not very knowlegable when it comes to components. I would appreciate the help. Thank you.

You can buy a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter and a HDMI cable. This is the best solution, and image will start showing on your TV after connecting your Mac to the TV.
If you want to do this wirelessly, get an Apple TV and use an application like Beamer or AirParrot. AirPlay Mirroring is not compatible with your MacBook, so this is the only way of mirroring your MacBook Pro's display onto the TV wirelessly
