I have a Macbook Pro linked into the same network as a Canon MG6350 inkjet printer but each time I try and print wirelessly, the macbook tells me that the printer in not connected,

The default printer on the macbook is the Canon 6300 series and I downloaded the latest driver (10.72.1.0) in an effort to solve the problem but it hasn't changed anything. It does print when connected by USB.

The same document can be printed from my iPhone 4S and also from my iPad on the same wifi network. Neither of these have needed drivers downloaded.

I have reset the router and followed many other routes suggested by others.

WHY WHY WHY does Apple make things so awkward? What is it about the Macbook Pro and Mountain Lion?

I am REALLY close on going back to Windows.

Now can someone PLEASE tell me where I am going wrong?
