Q: I had 5 devices associated with my account...

(including iTunes match) and I bought a new desktop. It wouldn't let me associate the desktop as I was at my limit, so I 'removed' 2 devices, but I still can't associate the PC as it is telling me I still have 5 associated when my account is now only showing 3. I thought it may take a day or so to clear, but it has been a week now and still no change. Help!

iTunes, iOS 6.1.4

    Hello Robheldreich,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

It sounds like you took the correct steps to de authorize other computers but one is still saying that you have 5 computers associated.

First if you have not already, I would verify that the computer that is refusing to authorize is using the same Apple ID.

If so then I would sign out of the iTunes Store, restart the computer, and then sign back in.

Choose Store > Sign In (or Sign Out).
