The phone is a little over a month old and the glitching started yesterday. It's not only on the keyboard (as I've seen many complaints about), it's glitching and flickering all of the time, no matter what I am doing, or what app I am using. The best way that I can describe it is that it's very much like a static on the television. No matter how much or little I'm using it, the amount of glitching is the same.

Is this something that could be part of the keyboard glitch issue, or an indication that my screen is failing?

    Hello Disastermind,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

I would like to recommend 3 things. If you have not already, I would restart the iPhone.

iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

    Restarting your device

    1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
    2. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

If the issue persists, then from that same article I would reset the phone.

    Resetting your device

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

And if the issue is still not resovled, then I would backup the phone to iTunes, and restore it.
