Sep 12, 2013 11:18 AM in response to SergZakby tommykearns,Thanks SergZak,
I have the syncing down. My specific problem is that I have multiple computers from which have images that I want on my ipad.
When I choose to sync photos to my ipad from a different computer, all of the photos currently on the ipad will be deleted and replaced with the new photos.
I want to keep the old photos. And add new photos from a different location. Is this possible?

Sep 12, 2013 2:40 PM in response to tommykearnsby Jolieteddie,You could try using a WiFi transfer app to move photos from different computers onto your iPad. There are several in the App store. I know that the I've moved photos from my regular laptop, a netbook, and from my iPhone to my iPad.

If you're a PC user, install the iCloud Control Panel software then you can upload pictures from the computer to a Photo Stream (iCloud), then have access to them from your iPad or any device linked to your account. If desired, you can also copy a photo from Photo Stream to your iPad's Camera Roll or any album you desire. If you're a Mac user you can do the same, but without needing the ICP software.

Sep 12, 2013 3:28 PM in response to tommykearnsby Texas Mac Man,Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive (works the same with an SD card) into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

Sep 15, 2013 7:01 AM in response to tommykearnsby Brad Wright2,You can drag and drop the photos from you Mac to your iPad without going through iTunes using a free app called Pic Share It. All photos get automatically transferred and saved to your camera roll. Here's video showing how it works.
