Q: updating carrier setting on 4s

I am trying use Verizon iphone4s on T-mobile and was told to update the carrier settings to reflect Tmobile 14.x rather than Verizon 14.0. I couldn't find a way to do it. Appreciate if someone can post a step-by-step procedue for doing so.

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3

T-Mobile in what country?

The Verizon iPhone 4S can not be used on any U.S. carrier other than Verizon, even if the SIM slot is unlocked. It can only be unlocked for international use.

I talked to T-mobile Tech-rep yesterday. He mentioned that it is possible if the Carrier settings are changed. I could find some help for changing it on iphone 5 but not on 4s. Aprreciate any help in changing the settings for 4S.

It is physically impossible to use a Verizon iPhone 4S on ANY U.S. carrier other than Verizon. it can only be unlocked for use on Non-U.S. carriers. Whoever told you it could be done was misinformed.

You can't use that phone on T-Mobile U.S. Sell it to someone with Verizon and get a phone you can use.
