I have two unauthorized contacts on my offline list. Tried to delete them, but failed. There was no response when I clicked on the Remove Buddy option. Is there another way to delete them?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

    Hi,

Highlight the Buddy in the Buddy List and press the Backspace (delete) key.

You should then get a pop up to confirm you want to remove them.

If you have two or more computers logged in to the same Account it can be difficult to remove names as the other computer will put them back again.

    Hi,

And you are not logged in somewhere else as well ?

    Phone, another computer ?

It is late where I am and it will be a while before I reply again.

    Hi,

I would agree that it does not match my experience and therefore I would agree it sounds a bit weird.
