Q: missed contacts

i had two phones and i sold one ..i think that guy delete my contacts so i try to back up from i cloud but i cant

iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.4

    If you didn't reset the sold phone by having all data deleted, then your accounts are compromised.  Change the passwords first.  Otherwise he will continue using your icloud account and mess things up more.

     

    If you made backups from the old phone to icloud, and the new owner has deleted the contacts, then his newer backups have written over the old ones.

     

    At this point, I fear that you have lost your contacts.
