Q: iOS 7 iMessage won't activate

I have this problem too, my iPad ok but iPhone 5 just says waiting for activation and is the same for FaceTime.

Wondered if there'd be a **** up with this upgrade.

keep on trying to activate. I had the same problem but i finally managed to activate it after so many tries.

I'm having the exact same problem. I've tried everything I can think of to fix it. What is going on!? If I would have known there was going to be a problem I would have waited to download the update

i've tried to activate mine like a million times and it comes up saying that i need to check my network connection every single time

I have the same issue, it says "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again."

I've used the same Apple ID to log into the app store and icloud.

Is everyone else's saying "Use your Apple ID for iMessage"?

Mine is stuck at waiting to activate and it's really annoying.

Same here! iPhone 5 had no trouble but ipad ver4 gives me the same message as everyone else!

Same exact problem. iMessages, FaceTime and push notifications won't work since I get sign into my account apparently. Also all my app updates disappeared suddenly without having updated them yet. This looks promising.. Come on Apple fix this crap.

iPod Touch 5 is working, but iPad 3 is a no-go for iMessage and FaceTime.

Go to Settings>General>Reset(its at the bottom) and hit "Reset Network Settings". Fixed it for me, should work.

Nice try but I've done that several times as well! Sorry it is happening, just glad to know that it is an Apple prob and not me!!!!
