Sep 19, 2013 4:17 PM in response to pandamoniumsby Coldacre,the only way I've found to get rid of the iCloud songs is to go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Sign out of my Apple ID. then the iCloud songs disappear.

Connect your iPhone to your computer, then open iTunes and go into your iPhone menu, which shows your usage and settings and things like that. Check the box that says "Manually manage music and video". Now you need to click on the tab called "On This iPhone". You should now be able to find any unwanted songs and delete them directly. Sync your iPhone and you should be all set!
