Hi there!

My aunt bought me this iPad mini from Saudi Arabia.

It doesn't have FaceTime in it which I really want to have.

I was wondering if Apple (Philippine branch) can replace it?

It's very unlikely that they will replace your iPad in Philippine.

Why don't you try and ask for a replacement; nothing to loose.

It's because your warranty is not international. It is Saudi Arabia who does not allow ipads, etc. to have facebook.

If you got it very recently, you should explain the situation to your aunt, mail it to her, and ask her to return it. She can then give you cash and you can buy it in the Phlippines where it will have facebook built in. I would think she would understand. (I don't think an itunes gift card bought in Saudi anad sent to you would work either.)

However, if you're near an Apple store you can always try to return it before you have to mail it back to your aunt.

    Hope this helps.

I never heard of a Mac store. I'm only guessing here, but I don't know what a store in the Phillipines would want with a  mini that does not have facetime? But you can give it a try.

I still think you should explain your situation to your aunt and see if she can help you. Make sure you do it immediately so she'll be within the exchange period and will get a full refund. She gave you the mini for you to enjoy it and was very possibly unaware that Saudi Arabia does not allow facetime. I would think she'd be happy to help you.
