how to turn off auto-rotate on iOS 7, how to turn off auto-rotate on iOS 7

I just downloaded the iOS 7 update on my iPhone 4s. I have pretty much figured it all out, except for a few things. I can't figure out how to turn the aut-rotate off so i can text landscape wise. When I first turned it on, it let me rotate my phone. I turned my phone off and after a few mintues back on, and now it won't let me rotate the screen so I can text with my phone turned on its side. Just need a little help on the few extra things. Thanks in advance!
