Just updated my iPhone 4 and iPad 3 with IOS 7, but iTunes Radio doesn't show up on either device.  It does show up on my OSX Mountain Lion though. Any suggestions?

You don't see the radio button on the far left at the bottom? It's the first button in the music app. Did you try restarting or rebooting your devices?

Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Note that iTunes Radio is only available in the U.S. at this time.

I too did the update and I can't see the Radio icon. It's working on my iPhone but not on my iPad. Help?

I have restarted my early 2012 iPad multiple times and the closest I get to iTunes Radio is a brief screen flash "welcome to iTunes Radio" which disappears and leaves only the playlists on screen. The iTunes Radio icon is not shown at all.

    Any ideas?

Solved the problem of the absent Radio button on my early 2012 iPad. Despite rebooting multiple tunes, the radio button was absent.

I closed the Music App from the multitask window, restarted the Music App and the Radio button appeared. All is well....

For me it was because I was still on beta... Unlike beta updates they didn't tell us the official seed was out until I plugged it into iTunes for update. *I can't even update to the official version via Settings>Software Update*  Why is apple saying "screw you" to us developers is a mysterie. Hope this works for the most of you.

    **For beta testers**

    1. Plug iPhone / iPad or other device into iTunes.

    2. Click update.

    I live in the US.

Turning Location services OFF opening the MUSIC app then turning Location Services back ON helped me.

I found the solution here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/23014742#23014742

The only sequence that worked for me was:

    1. Turn off location services (settings>privacy>location services)

    2. Reboot holding 'power' and 'sleep' buttons until apple logo appears

    3. Turn on location services

    4. Open Music app

So I was having the same issue and through guess and check I think I figured out the problem.

Essentially iTunes Radio is only available in the US, hence your phone needs to know you're within the borders of the USA.

I went into Settings > Privacy> Location Services > System Services (at bottom of the screen) and started playing around with some location systems I had turned off to preserve battery life. As soon as I turned on the "Setting time zone" function, iTunes Radio became available again.

It looks like Apple uses that system service to determine location of the phone and thus the availability of iTunes Radio.

You may have to close out the Radio app and restart (or even restart your phone) to make it work but so far so good for me.

    Good luck!
