When I close an app with a gesture the icons move to their places in a particularly annoying twitchy way. The animation starts with icons morbidly big and located quite asymmetrically then the icons move a little and when I remove my fingers from the screen icons dash to where they belong with an unpleasant jerk. Does anyone experience the same problem? Or is it a feature?

Like I said, Amen. Glad I don't have vision problems, this new interface will be rough for folks with vision impairments. Not enough contrast, and losing the 3-D effect makes it harder to see icons, plus the default system text style is dark gray and skinny instead of black and easy to read. Even for me that's annoying, and I have excellent vision. Between the washed-out look, the flat affect, the colors (and mind you, I like pastels in my clothing), and the fact that my iPad 3 has become a slug, it's just a wonderful upgrade (not). Not to mention that the upgrade process erased all my emails.
