So you are saying when you are connected to WiFi and Siri is turned on in your Settings, and you press and hold the home button Siri does not appear?

My Siri isn't either. But I think it's actually a network or IOS problem at the moment.

Ditto! I just read a CNN article about the male version of Siri so I thought I would try it. Followed all the steps but Siri is 100% gone! Anyone at Apple can confirm?

I think I found your answer in another post. Go to settings and check the restrictions tab. See if Siri is allowed.

Once Siri is allowed you have to go back to settings --> general --> Siri and slide the button to green

I have same issue and Siri doesn't appear in settings->General or restrictions.  It's like it completely gone.

I fixed mine! Go in and reset settings in general settings at bottom. It's the top reset. After complete go turn on Siri, location, and find my iPhone. Let me know if it works for you

I actually just waited 24 hrs and it worked just fine. It's happened to me before where Siri would tell me she (he now) couldn't help me at this time, and I figured it was a network problem, as my Siri ha always been activated/enabled in my settings! Thanks for the tip though.

sorry I have a problem with siri

I have an iPhone 4s and I have upgraded to iPhone OS 7 and I have encountered a small problem, sometimes when I ask things like: the weather in paris? me an error and tells me: Sorry, but at the moment I can not accept requests. Try again soon.

It happens often enough and before I had issues with iOS 6.1.3 can you help me?

    Cristian,

I have encountered that problem before. I actually got that exact message when I first upgraded to IOS 7, and again I had to wait about 24 hrs and the problem fixed itself. It's not a setting, I can assure u of that. I think it has to do with the network service provider you're on or the wifi wherever you are. One thing I could recommend though would be to try turning Siri off and then on, and if that doesn't work hold your power button on too of the phone and the home button on the front bottom of phone until the phone cuts off and the apple logo shows back up on the screen.

    Hope this helps,

    Mark

Ditto, I just started getting the screen Cristian shows, went through all settings and restrictions to no avail, but restarting the phone brough Siri back.  No idea what the problem was.

I'm having the same issue with my 4S.  When I ask Siri to look up something or set a reminder, etc. the swirling circle/processing symbol lasts for about 30 seconds or so, then Siri finally tells me that she can't take requests right now.  It seems like Siri is processing the request without having a data connection fully established and just hangs until finally giving up -- because if I immediately ask Siri again (after getting the error message) everything works fine.  This is a recurring issue, and did not start happening until after my upgrade to iOS 7.  Resetting the network and privacy settings didn't help.  I even restored my phone earlier tonight -- no improvement from that either.
