I just posted this same issue. Have it since yesterday - thought maybe apple would fix right away - actually on hold with them now - I WILL post back here once they answer - or don't.

Sep 20, 2013 7:05 PM in response to ross0by mtnsupport,which phone are you using? guessing iPhone 5? I just checked with another user on the same domain - he uses a 4s - he is NOT having the issue!! Updating the engineers now - and fyi - the 4s user gets chronological results - unlike us.

does your server say connect.emailsrvr.com or secure.emailsrvr.com?

Sep 21, 2013 7:50 AM in response to ross0by rwpritchett,Having same issues on iPad 3. iPhone 4S does not give duplicate results, but they also are not in chronological order. Hope App,e gets this fixed quickly. It makes mail search really difficult to use.

Sep 22, 2013 10:52 PM in response to rwpritchettby cocoa24,I'm having the same issue on iPhone 5. In addition to the chronological order issue and duplicate email issue, I have a third problem. When I select Edit in the bottom right hand corner after searching, on iOS 6, I could select emails on the left hand side that I wanted to move into a folder. With iOS 7, the majority of emails are now unselectable in Edit mode.... very strange. This was my favorite way of clearing out my inbox
