Sep 20, 2013 12:09 PM in response to Tobyw101by FenixRizing04,my iPhone 4 is SO laggy since i updated to iOS 7. the typing delay is awful in every app, even when trying to input my 4-digit PIN to unlock the phone. i saw a link somewhere in this thread for a fix that came from Apple Support and will try that later tonight.

Sep 21, 2013 7:06 AM in response to pgoodwinby Jackie6653,I am having the same problem - to the point of it taking up to 30 seconds for my phone to unlock after the code is entered. Have an appointment at the Genius Bar this afternoon to see if they can help. Have to wonder if it is Apple's way of pushing the new phones. Would love to go back to previous IOS! Apple support fix worked for 24 hours, then phone is back to lagging.

Sep 21, 2013 7:18 AM in response to pgoodwinby pgoodwin,I urge everyone that has or is experiencing the typing lag issue on their iPhone 4 after the iOS 7 upgrade to go to Apple's feedback site and tell them about your experience. Perhaps this will provide some sense of urgency in rolling out an update.

Sep 21, 2013 7:34 AM in response to pgoodwinby RockyNB,Done, this is what I have entered on the Apple Feedback site.
"Myself and others with an iPhone 4 have been having major issues since the iOS7 upgrade. There is a terrible lag when typing from the keyboard, it affects all apps even when entering the unlock code to unlock the phone. The lag between the typing and the entry showing up can be as long as 20 to 30 secs. We have done everything from reboots, reset all, and complete restores. The reset all and the complete restore will fix the problem but only for about 24 hours, then you have to do it again.
Please find a fix."
Please follow pgoodwin suggestion above and follow the link posted and send in your comments.

Sep 21, 2013 7:43 AM in response to RockyNBby dilbert41,Before you throw the phone against a wall, try this - it has worked for loads of people:
Go to Settings>iCloud>documents and data and turn it OFF. If its off already set it to ON then set it back to OFF.

Sep 21, 2013 8:09 AM in response to pgoodwinby Yobym,I would not upgrade the iPhone 4 to iOS 7 until an update is rolled out addressing the horrendous lag. It lags EVERYWHERE and is almost unbearable for me. Don't forget that once you update there is no going back so you should probably wait just to be sure that the lag will be addressed.
