Q: iOS 7 iMessage won't activate

Stalker I already outlined in this post what the symptons of the O2 app TUGO issue is.

Text messages from Apple arrive as Standard messages instead of hidden messages.

I also advised the fix.

it cant be all my messages keep coming through to my email address

Because Mikey, if they have your email recorded on their phones it will work, Trust me, if the items are ticked, they are working, people having the problem on 02 are not getting the number ticking

Looks like it really is all about patience. Mine just activated after doing nothing recently. I tried all of the many tips over the past few days with no luck so decided just to do nothing and wait it out. Just checked my phone and now all activated. I'm also with Telstra in Australia. Finally!

Well as filemaker says it sounds like your iMessage is actually working, but I think the issue is something to do with the activation message apple sends through getting intercepted by Tugo.

All I know for sure though is that O2 kept blaming apple but when I deleted my Tugo account then the app, my iMessage and FaceTime miraculously started to work

ok well i have put tugo back on... What do i have to do now ?

MIKE YOURS IS WORKING IF THE NUMBER IS TICKED, just wait for your friends to fix theirs

Right ok, one last question why is it saying waiting activation ?

It cant have the number ticked and saying awaiting activation at the same time, so the number couldnt of been ticked

Well it did have both off them ticked and it was saying waiting for activation. but it been sorted now anyway thanks to Stalkerdp
