I've created a project in iMovie, shared it at maximum resolution as a .mov file and tried to write it as a BluRay disc using Toast's BluRay plug-in. Every time I try to write it tells me that there are errors in the write to disc and that the disc is faulty. I'm using re-writable discs so I erase and start again, with the same result. This would seem to clearly point to errors in the encoding by Toast. Can anybody offer a view of Toast's BluRay capabilities? Should I abandon all hope, or should I delete all the progress so far and start all over again, keeping in mind the fact that my iMac can take 12 hours or more to encode the 1hr movie. I'd appreciate some advice here. At the moment I'm erasing the disc for the third time. If the basic code is faulty there's no point in trying again without starting again. If the disc is faulty a new disc might solve the problem. How can I determine which path I should take?
