Hi, I have the same problem since installing Itunes 11.1. Mine does not finish syncing and no matter how many times I drag a song to music it just won't add it to my library. I also can't play home videos. There are tv shows in there that I converted that we're ok before but now they just open and closed immediately when I try to watch them from my iPhone.

Well, after another two days of adding everything back letter by letter, it's finally syncing properly (but I won't be sure until I buy a new album and attempt to add from that).
Also, it seems "Group by Album Artist" does not affect "Album" view but instead affects "Artist" view. In album view, every album is listed by alphabetic order according to album title regardless of settings. If you have "Group by Album Artist" off, in "Artist" all artists are separate, even if they were a contributing artist to a compilation. If you ahve the setting on, then "Artist" view is organized by Album Artist. This is a bit backwards and we should really notify Apple about it.

Just upgraded tonight to 11.1 -
Same problem with iPod touch - cannot move Mp3s to either Library or to iPod. Zilch. Cannot add a thing.
Apple needs to address this IMMEDIATELY. You'll be stuck with whatever music or podcasts you've got on your devices or in your library. This is ********.

Same issue! I've "Waiting for changes to be applied" takes about 10 minutes, then it will either just stop as if I never tried to sync, or sync a couple of songs and then stop. Hope this is figured out soon!

I know this might sound like its way too simple of an answer, but I believe I have one. I restarted my computer a couple times. Both times it installed updates and then after that I was able to add everything I wanted to my library and my phone. So try restarted it twice and hopefully it will work out.

The only way I've found to make it sync everything is to unsync the music and save then re-sync the music and it syncs just fine. If you just try to add and album though you're right... it won't add just that. Hopefully there's a fix on the way!

This is getting beyond a joke.
my iphone sync
it wont transfer purchases
my itunes is basted all over itself i.e. most singles are albums
itunes is crap to use.
it should be
artwork | artist | album | song etc.
if i play a song and flick tunes, it should go to the section of the list highlighting the current song
playing. i disnt like the logical order of itunes to start but put up with it BUT this is an illogical LEAP BACKWARDS!!!!!
iv reset the phone,
uninst itunes, reloaded itunes
restored the after phone after several reboots
unsyncing music, etc, etc
im totally PEED off and its costing me time and money and NO
i shall be telling APPLE that i wish to speak to someone VERY high up and
seeking some sort of compensation. this is SERIOUSLY screwing with my life.
im self emnployed taxi driver and i cant sit in front of my pc all f*&king day on the phone!!!
im going to insist that an engineer comes round my house with MY PHONE, MY PC and MY WIFI and

I'm having the exact same problem as described by everyone else in this thread. We've all hit the same wall.
Earth to Apple!!
** This is NOT a minor bug... This is MISSION-CRITICAL functionality and it is BROKEN. **
You need to roll out a FIX to this problem STAT! (as in NOW).
iOS 7 on an iPhone 4S 64GB syncing through iTunes 11.11.1.
Problem exists with both wired and wireless sync.
I am experiencing this also with iTunes for Mac.
Please FIX THIS NOW.

Hello! I had the same problem, but I got it fixed, may be a fluke, but turn your phone off and let it sit for 2 minutes or so, turn it back on, wait another 2 minutes, and plug it in to your computer with itunes up. Worked for me, hope it works for all of you!!! Best of luck!
