Notifications sync not working

One of the listed features of iOS 7 is "notification sync" which states that removing a notification off one device removes it from all. I can't get this working, any notification I clear on my iPad doesn't clear off my iPhone or vice-versa. Only apps that already did this in iOS 6, like the Gmail app do this.

Has anyone gotten notifications sync working?

Same problem here, thought it might be because I logged in with @me.com on one device and @icloud.com on the other (same account though). Don't wanna go through deleting account on one device and resyncing unless I know that's the cause!

So far I've seen it working on the Mail and Messages apps only. The notifications only clear and sync when the new items are read within the apps (you can't just clear the notification from notification centre and have it sync).

Still unsure if other apps are meant to be working, if developers need to code in support for his, and if notifications are meant to sync when cleared from the notification centre as opposed to having to open each app first.

A bit of a mess currently.

Guys, I don't know if you're having the same issue as I was, but before you make the determination that it's not working, try giving it more time. I assumed that notification syncing would be instantaneous, however that has not been the case. In fact it sometimes takes anywhere from five minutes to 30 minutes for a notification to sync between devices. I assume it has to do with Apple's backend and hopefully it will get much better in the near future...

I have notifications sync working on my iPhone 4s and iPad 4, but it's about 15-20 mins to wait until it will be synced. However notification icons (counter on app icon) doesn't sync across devices, so i have this mess: received push-notification on both devices from IM+ (for ex.), read it on iPhone, wait 15 mins - notification disappeared on iPad too, but counter on IM+ icon still shows (1). This kind of sync isn't very useful when it only applies to text notifications in notification center, but doesn't affect app icon counters.

Apparently notification sync between iOS devices isn't universal. It only works for apps designed to use it. So far I've seen notifications for the following apps sync: Mail (iCloud only), Gmail and Facebook.

I've read that the universal notification sync only applies between iOS devices and OS X, not between iOS devices and other iOS devices. If that's the case, that's stupid.

As for not waiting long enough, I've waited over 12 hours, so that's not it.

I'm having similar kind of problem. Got ipad air and obviously have same apps on iPad and iPhone. For example instagram. As soon as I signed in to instagram on iPad it started giving notifications on iPad and stopped on iPhone. What if I wanna get notifications on my iPhone again when I'm not around my ipad?
