Where is the delete button?: Apple Support Communities
If you can't do without the delete button, there are altenate keyboards available, if not on sale locally, certainly to order. My UK keyboard has a delete button.

Sep 24, 2013 4:01 AM in response to vboyersby R C-R,What country's keyboard are you using? Is it an Apple branded one? (If you are unsure, see if you can find it in the list at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2841)
AFAIK, all of them have a delete key, located on the right side of the second row of keys (the row below the small function keys). It may be labeled with a left facing arrow, the word "backspace," or "delete." In all cases it works to delete the character to the left of the cursor (unless some app maps it to do something else).
If you mean the 'forward delete' key, the one on the larger keyboards that deletes the character to the right of the cursor, you should be able to get that functionality by holding down the "Fn" (function) key when you press the delete key.
