iPhone 5 IOS7

Windows 7 Home Premium

I am trying to backup my iPhone 5 and get the message below. I'm not sure if this is IOS 7 related because I have not backed up the iPhone since May so something may have broken it pre-IOS7. Any ideas?

Not having any issues with backing up my iPhone 5s to iCloud or my Macbook Pro running iTunes 11.1.

    I can't say for Windows.

Download and install the new iCloud software for Windows 7 if you had that on your PC, then retry.

That's a windows crash. It has nothing to do with the phone itself.

Have you received any resolution on this?  I received the same error message after upgrading to ios7 and iCloud 3.0.  My photostream stopped syncing photos between my PC and iPhone5, and nothing I have done has resolved it.  I uninstalled and reinstalled iCloud 3.0.  I changed the directory location of PhotoStream numerous times.  I manually removed all the photos from my phone so that I would have a clean slate when it came to photos. I tried adding photos to the Uploads folder within PhotoStream to get them to sync to my phone.  Nothing.  Each time I change the location of PhotoStream on my PC, the shared streams and activity re-sync to the new folder, but no photos (either those added to the uploader or any new photos taken with the phone) ever sync between the phone and PC.  Note that PhotoStream on the iPhone DOES update.  It just stopped syncing with the PC once the upgrade to ios7 and iCloud 3.0 occurred (they occurred simultaneously).

I jumped the gun on asking.  I've been dealing with this issue for a month now and finally found a post today that helped solve my issue, so I thought I would fill you in just in case you are still in the same situation.

Re: iCloud CC 3, Win7, iOS 7: Photostream no longer syncs to PC

For me, it was the two iOS Photo Streams being out of sync.

iOS PhotoStreams should always have the same photos on them. Same number exactly.

The PC saves all of the photos.

Anyway, the Apple rep had me sign out of iCloud CC on my PC.

Then on each iOS devices Settings/iCloud/Delete Account.

    Confirmed all the warnings.

Then re-entered my iCloud id and password on the iOS device.

Things restarted and the iOS Photo Streams got loaded with the number of photos that

    iCloud has.

Signed in on iCloud on the PC. It synced the same way.

Tried taking pictures on the iPhone and iPad. They synced everywhere.

    So I'm back in business.

I just deleted everything on my iOS devices when I exited iCloud.

My interest is the PC syncing when I take a photo on my iPhone.

I think I should be able to take my old Photo Stream on the PC and copy them into the iCloud Upload folder.

    That should get them everywhere.

Signing out of iCloud Control Panel on my PC and then deleting my iCloud account from my phone is what did the trick.  For good measure, I restarted both the phone and the PC after doing this.  Logged back into iCloud on the phone and everything started syncing.  I placed a bunch of pics in my Uploads folder on the PC and they are now syncing to the phone.  I took a couple new pics on the phone and they are now syncing to my PC.
