Recently i bought a 4G iPad of 32 gb. I have about 8000 photos of regular size that are about 2gb of hard drive space, and when i used itunes to upload those pics into the iPad, i noticed that while synchronizing, iTunes indicated that i was using 28gb of space.

Somehow in my case iTunes is increasing the size of my pics in the sinchronization process and of course the space available decreases enormously. I,ve read in the dicussions that iTunes reduces the pics size, but in my case is doing the opposite.

Today i uploaded 73 pics that in my hard drive are about 15mb in total, but when i connect the iPad to iTunes, it states that the size for those 73 pics in the iPad is 48mb. Somehow the pics in the iPad are 3 times its original size.

Anyone knows about this issue?

Thanx in advance
