There is hope !!
An external video card enclousure connected via the thunderbolt ports !
I can't really vouch yet for how efficient it will be (since it hasn't been even released yet xD !!)
But it is the only way I assume to upgrade your graphics in your MBP

i know that lots of people ask this but i have a 15 inch mbp 2012 with intel HD graphics 4000
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M and Intel HD Graphics 4000
As you can see you also have the NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M which is currently ranked 105 on the list of fastest video cards.
Not exactly a powerhouse, it is a mobile GPU after all.
The Intel HD 4000 is CPU graphics, you also have a seperate NVIDA GPU as well.
If you really have the 13" MacBook Pro, then YES, you only have Intel HD 4000 and no GPU what so ever.
i LOVE to game
Then you really need something like this, Mac's are not 3D gaming machines.
or perhaps this
