Sorry, downgrading is not supported by Apple.

what are my choices with this app? they say it is now NUANCE... But I have not been able to contact them. Are you familiar with Noterize?

I'm not I'm afraid. If you can't open your pdf files, can you mail or upload them off your device? My thought is, get the files off your device then find a different app to open the pdf files. There are a lot of PDF readers out there, many of them free.
It can be something that can tide you over until your app updates.

You will have to wait for the app to be updated so that it is compatible with iOS 7. It was a free app, so it may be a long time.

Hi, it was not a free app...I bought it with iPad1 and then did not see it again in the app store... it worked fine with the other iOS, until now....

I tried to email me some files or send them to dropbox but it would not do it. When I try to download new ones, I can see the list of my files in the background but cannot reach them. When if I open the app it will open with a different file on screen each time and won't show anything else...

For anyone else who has this issue. After Noterize was acquired, the app stopped working as Noterize on the iPad, if you attempted to import etc. Go to the app store and search for the app under it's new name: Paperport Notes. Download the free app and it will work just like Noterize.

Thanks for your response. I downloaded Paperport Notes and yes, it works as noterize but I have no access to my previous files which is what I need... I use pdf notes and it does almost the same that noterize (it even has a better filing system), but all the work I did on my previous files is lost... I thought paperport would read all that was under noterize and grab those files...

Ah, I see. Sorry about that :/
I don't mean to sound silly but...
I assume you already tried to manage your Noterizefiles with itunes??
>connect iPad directly to computer via cable, select the device in iTunes to view, click on Apps tab at the top, scroll to bottom of this tab to view "file sharing/apps" section, select Noterize app from the list on the left>there you may manage your files. There may be other file folders there in the list, click on them all to open and find your files. From there you can select and save them to your computer or your cloud service, then import them to paperport.... or any other app.
The only way I am aware of managing files and backups for this app are a) through itunes and b) by using a cloud based service such as dropbox.
If you cannot see your files in itunes and if you made a backup of your ipad, it seems that you should have been able to "restore from a previous backup".
I always make a copy of my important files before upgrading the app that handles those files and before upgrading iOS.
I wish I could help you more

Thanks.. I tried that before and only 1 of more than 100 files appeared! I had done something similar when I passed from the Ipad 2 to the mini so I have some files with me, but just a few...
Anyway... I guess, lesson learned! always do a backup!!!
Thanks for all your help..
