Q: I don't have FaceTime and phone on my iPad why

I have purchased iPad 4 from UAE in which I can not use FaceTime and phone (due to not installed in iPad) . I am using this iPad in India and want to install these applications. Please support me for the same.

    If you look on this page: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4319 and under the Additional Information heading you will see that FaceTime isn't available in UAE, and as you purchased your iPad there this is most likely the reason for this.

    You won't have a phone on an iPad, you can't use it as a 'normal' phone. For FaceTime, that isn't on iPads sold in the UAE due to restrictions by the UAE government, and even though you may now be in a different country youu can't install it, including via iOS updates (it's blocked by the serial number). There are simiar apps such as Skype For iPad.
