Seems little point in trying to do anything, I guess as with when this was happening a couple of weeks ago, it's a problem on their end.

Having said that......if I leave it to do it's own thing it just goes on forever. What's working for me at the moment is the old sign out, sign back in again thing. That works pretty much instantly.

    Bloody Apple.

That never worked for me. I tried that like 10x, incld rebooting, over the last 2 days...no dice.

I don't like the fact that Match will kick in randomly, at any point in the day, and do its semi-complete Match-up, during which hour it will render my machine's CPU capacity almost completely depleted, and for this I will be charged $100 this weekend when my subscription auto-renews.

I know it wouldn't help us but it would be nice if they acknowledged there was a problem. But I guess they know that whatever crap they put out, we just keep throwing money at them. Sigh.

    $100?!

Does the price jump after the first year?

    Please say it doesn't!

My bad! It is NOT $100.

I was thinking of my 50 GB storage plan for iCloud. That IS $100.

That's it, I'm done! I'm going back to my drod phone and tablet. Apple phone support is horible!!!!!!

My wife called them (because she is the one with the computer at home). They just flat lied to her. They told her that Match is showing the songs on my iPhone or iPad because I didn't buy them from iTunes and that that is how it is supposed to work.

That is NOT how it is supposed to work! The first night everything worked fine. I ripped 40 CDs. Then I bought Match. then I turned Match on on my iPhone and iPad and there were al of those albums in my library. Now, I knew i would have to download them to the devices, which I did using WiFi.

After that first night Match hangs up and doesn't upload the songs to the iCloud and therefor they do not show up as available to download to my devices. That is NOT Match working properly! That is NOT what is stated on the Apple website on the Match information page! I bought match so all of my music could be stored in the iCloud and I could download the songs I wanted to my devices as I saw fit. I do NOT want to connect each device to my computer with a cable everytime I want to add a song. If I did I wouldn't have bought Match.

It is inexcusable that their phone support personel either doesn't know how the product is supposed to work or just lied to her to get her off of the phone. PATHETIC!!!! That is not customer support! That is not customer retention! Thye just completely turned off a new customer who had just about been convinced to be a complete Apple convert. Well... NO MORE!

If Apple monitors these discussion boards (which I have seen no proof of), they really need to do something about this. It's like they are counting on people being so deeply ingrained into iTunes and Apple software that they are stuck and they don't care about new customers. Fine by me!!!!!!!!

And I can't believe they don't have an e-mail address to contact support! (if they do it is well hidden)

You really should contact Apple Support again and complain about the service you received. Plus, you should also insist on talking to a supervisor to get your problem resolved.

I definately plan to, but the poor service thus far as left a bad taste in my mouth! I was trying to get this handled as I won't be home with the computer until late. I can't seem to find hours listed for Apple Support anywhere. This is very, very discouraging!

Its always amazed me how poor the support is at Apple especially seeing how much money we spend on their products.  We should be treated like Kings and Queens by this company.  It's a shame and the achilles heel of Apple.

I believe the Apple Customer Support Center is open from 7 am to 10 pm CST, U.S. Their phone # is: 1-800-275-2273. You can begin your issue on-line and leave a call back # & time and date for them to contact you.

I've had some hiccups since recreating my iTunes library and I've noticed different behavior from iTunes Match.  Updating of Match has been acceptable for about a month now, however the recreate on my iTunes library resulted in my iPad no longer showing automatic available updates in iTunes.  My iPhone is fine, but I have to either update my iPad via wifi or cellular, or manually hit the "Update" button next to the corresponding app in the iTunes "App" screen for my iPad.  Also, I was getting the message that my iPad was synced to a different library and did I want to erase and replace.  I tried that and now I don't get the error messages anymore, but I don't get the updates in iTunes when I sync my iPad either.

As far as Match, my system no longer automatically updates Match either, I have to manually initiate the Match update.  This is not a problem as far as I'm concerned, and maybe it is the correct behavior for iTunes, but prior to the 11.1 update, Match would attempt to update itself frequently and seemingly without any pattern that I could see.

Neither of these issues are deal-breakers...just slightly annoying and weird.  If anyone has any ideas on these, I'd be interested to hear...thanks.

I just bought Itunes match and it has never uploaded a song once..

    It crashes Itunes every time.

asks me to log out, log back in.. try it  again and it crashes at the upload.

This really ***** would be a cool idea if it worked.

To my suprise Apple support called me right at 7pm, which was when I told them via e-mail that I would be home by (after digging forever to get to a link where I could communicate with the through e-mail). The woman on the ohter end of the phone was very polite, patient, and helpful. It came down to turning match on on my computer, logging out of itunes on my computer, shutting my computer down, turning off match on my mobile devices, resstarting my computer, logging back into itunes, turning match back on, updating match, truning mobile devices back on, truning mathc back on on mobile devices, and... there were all of my CDs on my mobile devices. I still have some strange behavior from Match, but I can get my music.

I feel m uch better about being an Apple customer now, I guess my wife just got an incompitent fool the first time she called. I guess that can happen anywhere. And they really need to fix their automated phone calling system. But, I have throttled down on prepping to sell my Apple products and go back to Android.

The strange behavior that I am having is that artist names and album artwork are all correct in iTunes on my computer, but I still have some albums with no artwork on my mobile device, and some oof them say "unknown artist". I have tried all of the fixed I could find on here, but they only worked for some of the albums. IDK

And it deleted all but 4 of the songs on one of my albums that had already been matched. I deleted and reloaded the album, but I hope that doesn't happen often.

I'm having the same problem but why do you have to pay $100 when iTunes Match costs only $25 per year?

Mine has been stuck for weeks. Does anyone know if you can get you money back for iTunes Match? Apple obviously won't (or can't) fix this so I'm pretty fed up with it. Lots of threads about this issue, i've tried every solution mentioned and nothing works.
